Situated in an idyllic four-acre site, bordered by woodland in the quiet, desirable area of Hiltingbury in Hampshire, Sherborne House School is a co-educational independent day school for pupils aged six months to eleven years.

At Sherborne House, the children are the focus of all we do.  We want them to enjoy, value and grow from all their experiences with us, and to leave school with a life-long love of learning, and the confidence and resilience to achieve their goals and dreams.

Head's welcome

At Sherborne House, we believe that the strengths of a School lie firmly in its commitment to viewing each child as an individual. Sherborne House provides an environment where every child’s talents and passions are nurtured and developed.

Inspired teaching and a passionate dedicated staff ensure that we deliver a broad, dynamic and innovative curriculum. We ensure each child has the advantage of a broad and challenging academic offer and our strong academic results speak for themselves. Our children consistently perform above national and local averages at every stage of their education.

We have an excellent reputation for gaining significant numbers of scholarships for entry to senior schools at 11+ across a range of disciplines. The school has strong, long-standing relationships with the senior schools in the area and Sherborne House children are always commended for their determination, confidence and love of learning. Working closely with parents, we aim to build self-confidence and give each child the necessary skills to realise his or her full potential both now and through the next chapters of their life.

We welcome you to our school, and hope our website provides all the information you require, however do get in touch, should you have any queries or questions, as we would love to hear from you! We look forward to welcoming you to Sherborne House School.
